Penumbra Foundation offers more than 100 workshops and classes per year. Participants can choose from a range of processes and subjects to explore including historical photographic processes, digital tools, lighting techniques, photo editing and photobook projects.
Some of the processes we teach include: Daguerreotype; Platinum, Salt, Carbon and Cyanotype printing; Wet-Collodion; Calotype; Lumen Prints; Photogravure; Albumen; Chemigrams and Gum Bichromate, among others.
Members save 15% on workshop tuition.

Workshops are only available to participants aged 17 and older unless otherwise discussed.
In most cases, our registration deadline is 24 hrs prior to the start time of a workshop. If there is a workshop you would like to attend but it is not listed or sold out please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
