In The Fold

In the Fold is a forum uniquely dedicated to the medium of the photobook, highlighting the processes between photography, publishing, and education.

For the 2026 edition, In the Fold asks what it means for artists and photobook publishers to operate in an increasingly crowded field, raising the questions of how and why we publish.

Open to the public, the forum kicks off Wednesday, September 23rd with an opening reception and celebration. It continues Thursday, September 24th through Saturday, September 26h with conversations between artists and publishers, and artist-publishers, addressing the economy of book making as well as the reading economy.

See below for the In The Fold programming schedule, more information and to RSVP for sessions.
