2026 Online Members GallerY
Each year, we invite our members to submit their work for review by an acclaimed photographer, critic, or curator.
We are delighted to announce Momo Takahashi, artists and Assistant Photo Editor at the New Yorker Magazine, as the guest juror of our 2026 Members Gallery.
Three members are selected to have their work featured in an online gallery on our website and social media, receiving exposure and recognition within our international community of artists, photo world professionals, and photography lovers. Selected artists also receive an additional year-long Professional Penumbra Membership ($350 value), which includes 20% off workshops and online classes, discounts on film processing at LTI-Lightside, a complimentary 8x10 tintype portrait session, and more.

ApplicatioN Materials
Before you start the submission process, be sure to have all materials ready, as you cannot save your application during the process.
First and Last name
Email address
Membership ID (Please see initial email confirmation of membership)
Biography (500 words max)
Artist Statement (Write about the work you are submitting. 500 words max)
Image titles and credit lines (Image title, year, size, process, and any other relevant information)
Please place your biography, artist statement, and image titles & credit lines into a single PDF file and upload.
Label the file "LastName_FirstName_Application"
5-10 images (Submissions to our Members Gallery are open to all themes, and artists may submit multiple projects. However, we encourage that the portfolio present a cohesive artistic vision, which can be expanded upon in the Artist Statement.)
JPGs up to 1MB each, compressed and uploaded as a single ZIP file.
Individual files should be labeled and numbered. Example: LastName_FirstName-01, LastName_FirstName-02, etc.
Label the file "LastName_FirstName_Images"

*Interested in submitting to our Gallery, but not a member? For those looking to submit their work but are not currently members, we’ll be offering discounted Individual Memberships ($75 $25).
