10 AM - 4 PM
Class Size Max: 6
Learn about the cyanotype process in this hands-on workshop! Cyanotype is an iron-based photographic process that creates distinctive Prussian blue images. This one-day workshop introduces participants to this fun and accessible printing process. Through demonstrations and guided practice, students will learn how to mix chemistry, coat paper, expose prints, and all the best practices for using this process. A brief demonstration on making digital negatives will be covered. Students come prepared with digital files made with any device and objects for making photograms.
Students will leave the workshop with a collection of cyanotype prints and the knowledge to continue printing on their own.
Tuition includes a $25 material fee
If your desired tuition option is unavailable, please email info@penumbrafoundation.org and we will do our best to accommodate you. If the entire class is sold out, we can add you to the waitlist.
