December 13 & 14
10 AM - 6 PM
Class Size Max: 4
After attending introductory wet plate courses, participants are often eager to try working with larger plates. This workshop provides the opportunity to make tintypes and ambrotypes in the 8x10” size, while advancing ones collodion technique and skill set. Attendees use Penumbra’s studios, cameras, lighting and chemistry. Bringing your own 8x10” camera is encouraged, but not necessary and should be discussed beforehand by emailing Griffin@penumbrafoundation.org. Prior wet plate experience is required, whether it be a Penumbra intro workshop or similar class at another institution.
Tuition includes a $75 material fee
If your desired tuition option is unavailable, please email info@penumbrafoundation.org and we will do our best to accommodate you. If the entire class is sold out, we can add you to the waitlist.
