About the Artist:
Tasha Lutek is a photography preservation specialist and artist. Her work is often inspired by her relatives and biographical events, taking a closer look at cycles of family trauma. She also participates in From the Workroom, a collaborative project with Dana Bell that explores the complexities of the artist working in an arts institution while maintaining their own practice. She has worked with a variety of public institutions and private collectors. Currently, she is the Photography Collection Specialist for the Department of Photography at The Museum of Modern Art, New York (MoMA), where she is responsible for maintaining physical and intellectual access to the Museum's Collection.
About the Print Sale:
Prints are scaled appropriately on 11x14in paper, and ship in late February 2021 from Penumbra Foundation in New York City.
All proceeds directly support Penumbra Foundation's 2021 cycle of education, research, outreach, public and residency programs.
