Course Overview
Adobe Photoshop is a robust photo editing software with unlimited creative options to produce beautiful imagery. This course will focus on tonal adjustments and basic layer strategies for a simplified workflow. Students will learn how to navigate the software and develop best practices for image enhancements. Each week, students will be given assignments intended to reinforce the lesson covered that week, which will be reviewed in the following class. At the end of this course, students should feel more confident using the tools in Photoshop for creative and engaging images.

Lavonne Hall is extremely active in the photography and film communities and has been for over 25 years. She is a fine art photographer, a social butterfly and an educator at the International Center of Photography among other educational institutions. She demos Lightroom and Photoshop for Adobe and Wacom at various events and has worked closely with many well established artists and creative companies. She thrives on keeping up with technology by testing out all kinds of innovative software and equipment.
