Cati Bestard was born in Mallorca (Spain). She received her MFA from Columbia University in 2018. Her work has been exhibited at Ulterior Gallery, Times Square Space, Jewish Museum, Ortega y Gasset Projects, Museu Palau Soterra, Crush Curatorial and Untitled Miami. She has been a resident at the Institute of Investigative Living with Andrea Zittel (Joshua Tree, 2017), Hercules Art Studio Program (New York, 2018-2020), and Art Workspace Easthampton (Easthampton, 2021). She co-directs Dilalica, an exhibition space based in Barcelona. She has taught in the photography department at Columbia University, and currently teaches at Smith and Amherst Colleges.
