What is a chemigram? Imagine creating strikingly bold and colorful prints from traditional black and white photographic materials. No camera, no enlarger, chemigrams are a combination of painting, photography and alchemy.

Students exploration will begin with silver gelatin emulsion and an overview of traditional darkroom methods. Instruction will guide students through a range of different techniques used to artfully manipulate photographic paper.
