Workshops
Penumbra Foundation offers more than 100 workshops and classes per year. Participants can choose from a range of processes and subjects to explore including historical photographic processes, digital tools, lighting techniques, photo editing and photobook projects.
Some of the processes we teach include: Daguerreotype; Platinum, Salt, Carbon and Cyanotype printing; Wet-Collodion; Calotype; Lumen Prints; Photogravure; Albumen; Chemigrams and Gum Bichromate, among others.
Members save 15% on workshop tuition.
*Upcoming workshops are scheduled below. A minimum of 3 students is required for all workshops to run.
Workshops are only available to participants aged 17 and older unless otherwise discussed.
In most cases, our registration deadline is 24 hrs prior to the start time of a workshop. If there is a workshop you would like to attend but it is not listed or sold out please contact molly@penumbrafoundation.org.
