Penumbra Foundation 2017 Internship Opportunity
Application Deadline: 11/30/2016
The Penumbra Foundation, a non-profit 501 (c)(3) photographic arts and education organization, is seeking two candidates for a year-long intensive internship. This intern will work closely with all members of the Penumbra Staff and will contribute to the daily office workflow. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in administrative work and is highly self-motivated. An interest in photography and knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is not mandatory, but a plus. The successful candidates will work closely with the tintype studio manager and workshop coordinator, where he/she will gain hands-on experience in historical, alternative photographic processes. Interns will also gain insight on non profit administration and are encouraged to attend workshops, artist lectures and tintype studio events.
Applicants must make their own living arrangements and should have sufficient financial resources to cover their living expenses.
Please send a current resume and cover letter describing your background, skills and motivation for applying to this position to email@example.com. In the subject line write “Intern Application” or the email is not guaranteed to be opened.
